Bjorn's trip around the world took him thru Pakistan.  He picked up some postcards and tourist maps of Afghanistan.  He was there in February of 2002, just as the US was invading Afghanistan.  Hard to believe now, but Afghanistan was a beautiful country to travel in years ago.  We traveled with Bjorn in Egypt, Jordan, India and Nepal.  We met up a bit by chance and some email planning.  It becomes a small world on the world tour travel circuit.
