We had our friend Paul meet us in Athens and hang with us for a few weeks on the Islands.  Paul fell victim to our lifestyle of freedom and could barely muster the strength to get off the beach chair to fly back home to the states to work.  We hope to see Paul again soon, maybe in South East Asia or Australia.

Greece is also the first of many places that has an over population of cats and dogs just strolling around the country.  It was pretty shocking to have a dozen dogs walking down the street in a pack looking for food, or a bunch of kitties under your legs while at dinner.  Just one of the little things that you get completely used to after a while.
